Arrival and Set-Up
Our impeccably dressed professional singers arrive early at the venue to meet the designated contact. Working in harmony with the on-site sound engineer, they efficiently set up the necessary sound equipment, ensuring a flawless sound check.
Once preparations are complete, Encore’s performers effortlessly transition into character – whether it’s forming the acclaimed Tenors Encore, Sirens Encore, West End Encore or Jewish Encore acts, singing theatre, opera and musical tributes customised to your preferences or posing as the Maitre D’, Waiter/Waitress or Chef and blending into the scene before delighting guests with a magical surprise performance.
The Maitre D’ can assume the role of MC or toastmaster, guiding guests into dinner and making important announcements, such as introducing the bride and groom. Throughout this stage, they carry out as much guest interaction as possible, serving drinks and canapés to maintain the illusion of being genuine staff members.
The Performance
As the event progresses, our performers discreetly coordinate with the venue’s Banqueting Manager to determine the optimal timing for the performance. Taking to the stage, your chosen act – Tenors Encore, Sirens Encore, West End Encore, Tailor-Made Encore or Jewish Encore – will dazzle with sensational vocals, charisma, dramatic flair and visually stunning presentation.
Should you choose one of Encore’s highly sought-after surprise performances, when the signal is given, the Chef will take centre stage, introduced by the poised Maitre D’, and begins with light-hearted banter tailored to the occasion. Then, to the delight of guests, the Chef bursts into song, captivating the audience with exceptional vocal talents and acting prowess. They may even be joined by the Maitre D’, Waiter or Guest to form a harmonious trio.
Following a mesmerising performance, which often includes audience participation such as napkin waving and glass clinking, the show culminates in a breathtaking aria like “Nessun Dorma”. This leads to the humorous reveal of our singing staff’s true identities, followed by an encore of popular songs that leaves a lasting impression of an extraordinary event.
